Requirements
- 10+ years of engineering experience.
- 4+ years in engineering management roles with active coding responsibilities.
- Hands-on experience building cloud-based SaaS products.
- Experience running production services on Microsoft Azure.
- Background in FinOps space.
- API-first mindset for platform development.
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams (full-stack and data engineers).
- Track record of transforming engineering team velocity or technical quality.
- Deep technical fluency to read, write, and review code at a senior level.
- Strong philosophy on hiring, coaching, and technical decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of engineers, owning both its delivery and its development.
- Develop engineers through regular 1:1s, growth plans, performance reviews, and direct, candid feedback.
- Write and review code to maintain a credible voice in architectural and technical design decisions.
- Run a disciplined cadence of planning, prioritization, and delivery.
- Partner with Technical Product Owners and Product teams to maintain the roadmap.
- Own hiring for the team, including interviewing and performance management.
- Foster cross-team collaboration with Product, Design, GTM, and Customer Success.
