Requirements
- 6+ years of infrastructure, SRE, platform engineering, or developer productivity experience.
- Hands-on expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
- Proven experience leading a team of 3–10 infrastructure, SRE, or DevOps engineers.
- Experience building or transforming platform functions at scale.
- Expertise in operating mature, business-critical production infrastructure.
- Experience managing formal reliability practices including SLOs and incident management.
- Track record of improving developer velocity through self-service capabilities.
- Experience delivering measurable cloud-cost or infrastructure-efficiency improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
Responsibilities
- Set and execute a prioritized cloud-infrastructure modernization roadmap.
- Lead a global team across cloud platform, SRE, and DevOps with a player-coach approach.
- Improve developer velocity by delivering reliable paved roads, self-service workflows, and faster feedback loops.
- Establish formal reliability practices, including SLIs, SLOs, incident management, and observability.
- Own disaster-recovery strategy, testing, and resilience planning.
- Design a sustainable 24/7 operational and on-call model.
- Collaborate with the Chief Architect and engineering leaders to define platform priorities.
- Optimize cloud efficiency through cost attribution, capacity planning, and resource utilization.
