Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language, such as Java, Kotlin, Python, TypeScript, or Go
- Experience building and operating web services or distributed systems at scale
- Solid grasp of testing, code review, and continuous integration and deployment practices
- Clear communication and strong cross-team collaboration
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or similar) and containerized services preferred
- Experience with React or other modern front-end frameworks preferred
- Background in consumer-facing, marketplace, or travel products preferred
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and ship features across front-end and back-end services
- Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code and take part in code reviews
- Partner with product, design, and engineering teams to turn requirements into technical solutions
- Improve the performance, reliability, and scalability of existing systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, and help strengthen monitoring and alerting
- Contribute to technical documentation and share knowledge across the team
