Requirements
- Ability to think like a product owner with an understanding of unit economics, funnels, and growth mechanics.
- Experience personally establishing engineering rigor such as architecture decision records and standardized ways of working.
- Practical experience embedding AI tooling into the engineering lifecycle and measuring its impact.
- Leadership experience of multiple squads through Engineering Managers and Staff Engineers in a high-growth scale-up, high-transaction marketplace, or SaaS business.
- Conversational level English language skills.
- Experience with two-sided marketplaces or booking platforms is preferred.
- Exposure to growth engineering or growth experimentation is preferred.
- B2B SaaS experience at scale is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end delivery across 4–5 cross-functional teams, leading through Engineering Managers and Staff+ Engineers.
- Set the engineering standard for the domain, including frameworks for architecture decisions and technical proposals.
- Lead the AI transformation of the engineering lifecycle and define metrics to evaluate its success.
- Partner with Product to turn commercial strategy into engineering strategy backed by data and experimentation.
- Build a high-density team and coach leaders to operate autonomously.
