Requirements
- 5 or more years of relevant experience in technology, design, and communications.
- Pre-sales experience is required.
- Deep understanding of multi-tiered client/server and web-based computing solutions.
- Superior knowledge of storage architectures including FC, iSCSI, NAS, OSD, and SAN.
- Experience with Linux, NFS file systems, and Linux distributed network environments.
- Knowledge of cloud native architectures, on-prem, public cloud, and containers.
- Familiarity with VMware, networking, Ethernet, TCP/IP, and storage-intensive databases like SQL and Oracle.
- Ability to contribute to or lead responses to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs.
- Strong verbal and written interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop an exhaustive understanding of customer business drivers and decision-making motivations.
- Connect technology solutions to measurable business outcomes.
- Partner with account managers, specialists, and channel partners to drive revenue growth.
- Provide technical leadership on storage products, distributed storage architectures, and file systems.
- Manage evaluations, benchmarks, and system configurations.
- Build and deliver technical product and architecture presentations.
- Capture requirements and translate business needs into innovative solutions.
- Liaise with product and marketing teams to produce supporting technical materials.
