Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences, healthcare, or related discipline is required; advanced degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, RN, NP, PA) preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in GU oncology (prostate and renal cancer).
  • At least 2 years of people management experience, including coaching and developing field medical professionals.
  • Direct experience overseeing MSL activities, field ride-alongs, and performance metrics.
  • Experience executing field medical plans, KOL engagement strategies, and evidence-generation initiatives.
  • Experience supporting Investigator Initiated Trials (IITs).
  • Ability to interpret and communicate complex scientific and clinical data.
  • Thorough understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements for medical affairs.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, CRM, and insight-reporting platforms.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% locally, regionally, and nationally.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, coach, and develop a high-performing Field MSL team, ensuring the team has the scientific expertise, credibility, and accountability needed to support GU oncology objectives.
  • Lead field medical strategy and execution across prostate and renal cancer, including KOL engagement, scientific exchange, congresses, advisory boards, launch readiness, lifecycle management, and clinical trial support.
  • Translate Medical Affairs strategy, scientific narratives, priorities, and execution expectations into clear direction for the Field MSL team.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with national, regional, and local GU oncology experts, healthcare professionals, and key opinion leaders.
  • Lead the collection, synthesis, and communication of actionable medical insights, research gaps, field intelligence, and congress learnings to inform strategy and cross-functional decision-making.
  • Support clinical trials and evidence-generation activities, including investigator engagement, site identification, enrollment support, registries, expanded access programs, IITs, medical education grants, and research collaborations.
