Requirements
- 5+ years of senior-level experience in organizing, movement-building, or a related field, ideally within the climate sector.
- At least 3 years of direct people-management experience, including managing remote teams.
- Substantial lived and professional experience in the Majority World / Global South.
- Demonstrated experience building and scaling grassroots or volunteer-led networks in the Global South.
- Strong knowledge of the global climate movement.
- Proven ability to build coalitions and cultivate partnerships with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement organizing and campaigning strategies.
- Fluency in English.
- Strong interpersonal, stakeholder-management, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Experience applying justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion principles.
- Working knowledge of digital organizing and data-informed strategy.
Responsibilities
- Develop and lead network strategies for partners, allies, local groups, and volunteers.
- Establish systems to track network health, volunteer engagement, and leadership development.
- Lead and develop a distributed team of Regional Network Coordinators.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships across the climate movement and with external institutions.
- Oversee cross-country network mobilization initiatives and manage the function's budget.
- Drive cross-regional collaboration to share tactics, innovations, and insights.
