Requirements
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including general ledger, payroll, accounts payable, and month-end close.
- 2+ years of people management experience with direct oversight of accounting staff.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
- CPA preferred.
- Experience with international accounting, consolidations, or cross-border operations preferred.
- Proficiency in navigating modern finance systems and ability to learn/optimize new tools.
- Strong attention to detail with the capability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Growth mindset focused on continuous process and outcome improvement.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, and month-end close.
- Oversee accurate data entry, coding, and timely processing of invoices, maintaining strong controls over disbursements.
- Manage and develop a team, setting priorities, reviewing work, and driving performance.
- Identify and implement opportunities to automate manual processes and optimize existing software tools, including NetSuite ERP and close management tools.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate expense tracking, adherence to processes, and timely deadline management.
- Support foreign subsidiaries, intercompany activity, and consolidations for compliance and accuracy.
- Maintain a high standard for accuracy and completeness, ensuring all records are audit-ready.
