Requirements
- Demonstrated history of coaching, tutoring, education, counseling, or mission-driven work.
- Strong knowledge of best practices in resume writing, interviewing, and job search strategies.
- Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple demands in an evolving environment.
- Commitment to Merit America’s mission and inclusive excellence.
- Must be available for 4-day work weeks that include evening and weekend hours.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace is preferred.
- Experience with databases or learning management systems is a plus.
- Experience leading or presenting to large groups in a virtual setting is a plus.
- Comfort using AI tools for research and drafting is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Foster a positive and supportive environment for assigned learners through empathetic relationships.
- Deliver live and asynchronous personalized career coaching to guide learners toward career readiness.
- Facilitate professional skill development including resume editing, interview practice, and LinkedIn profile optimization.
- Monitor learner progress and identify program insights using quantitative and qualitative data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on learner outcomes and operational goals.
- Provide targeted coaching on job search strategies, mindset, and networking.
