Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or Information Technology.
- 5+ years of experience in financial planning, forecasting, purchasing administration, or financial analysis.
- Experience managing IT-related spend or supporting an IT organization.
- Proficiency with SAP ERP or comparable enterprise purchasing and financial systems.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for spend analysis and forecasting.
- Practical experience with IT Service Management platforms.
- Understanding of accounting principles including expense management, capitalization, and accruals.
- Ability to work effectively across multiple time zones.
- Willingness to travel up to approximately 5% domestically or internationally.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary IT buyer for technology goods, services, software, and telecommunications.
- Manage purchase requisitions and purchase orders in accordance with internal policies and budgets.
- Collaborate with IT, Finance, Legal, and Sourcing to validate requirements and maintain financial controls.
- Monitor supplier invoices, resolve billing discrepancies, and track open purchase orders.
- Consolidate operating and project expense forecasts and analyze variances.
- Support monthly financial close activities including accruals, allocations, and reconciliations.
- Coordinate with leadership to support annual budgeting and technology investment planning.
- Maintain administrative oversight of IT contracts, leases, and service agreements.
