Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience leading implementations of COTS software or platform-based solutions for Tier-1 government clients.
- At least 5 years of experience managing complex projects with budgets of $1M+ and 12+ month durations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Experience owning project budgets, monitoring burn rates, and managing scope negotiations.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
- Proficiency in Jira and Confluence, including creating boards and dashboards.
- Experience with project management tools such as MS Project or Visio.
- Strong technical literacy to interpret configuration repositories and workflow diagrams.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
- PMP certification is preferred.
- Knowledge of permitting and licensing processes is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Manage projects from initiation through completion using established methodologies, including planning, budgeting, and resource coordination.
- Lead cross-functional teams including consultants, architects, PMO, and cloud operations.
- Own project scope and Statements of Work, identifying changes and managing change orders.
- Monitor project health, budget burn, and RAID logs to ensure on-time delivery.
- Maintain project records, dashboards, and documentation in Jira and Confluence.
- Lead go-live readiness reviews and structured handoffs to Customer Success and Support.
- Track customer-side dependencies and lead steering committee meetings.
- Support business development through proposal development and project scoping.
