Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
- At least 5 years of experience in product support, product development, or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated experience leading programs, projects, or cross-functional initiatives.
- Strong understanding of product support planning, development, production introduction, or sustainment processes.
- Strong knowledge of aerospace or engineering processes.
- Established project management capabilities, including planning and execution of complex initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex technical and business challenges.
- Demonstrated leadership ability in aligning teams and influencing stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively across engineering, operations, and program management teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams and direct reports responsible for product support activities throughout development and production introduction.
- Develop, maintain, and execute an integrated product support plan through qualification, entry into service, and transition to sustainment.
- Coordinate support activities across support equipment, repair engineering, technical publications, reliability, maintainability, human factors, provisioning, customer training, and maintenance data systems.
- Develop cost and schedule estimates and support internal and external Earned Value Management activities.
- Manage product and service development from concept through production introduction.
- Develop and implement digital product support strategies that use data and technology to improve sustainment insights.
- Analyze complex or incomplete information to identify risks and provide recommendations.
