Requirements
- University degree in Accounting.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in an Accounting role, including GL ownership and reconciliations.
- CPA or similar designation preferred with 1 year post-qualified experience.
- Strong, demonstrated depth in US GAAP.
- Excellent Excel skills.
- Comfort learning new systems; NetSuite experience strongly preferred.
- Proven track record of GL clean up and process improvements.
- Ability to research independently and show strong initiative.
- Interest in using AI tools to automate routine work.
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and post journal entries for month-end close including fixed assets, inventory, and accruals.
- Own end-to-end accounting processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and maintain subledgers.
- Investigate and resolve GL and subledger discrepancies.
- Manage accurate and timely month, quarter, and year-end close processes.
- Support annual audits through the preparation of supporting schedules and tax documentation.
- Drive process automation and participate in UAT for system improvements.
