Requirements
- Experience in technical program management, project management, software engineering, or similar technical roles.
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile ways of working.
- Skill in coordinating programs across multiple engineering teams or departments.
- Strong written communication skills for asynchronous, documentation-first collaboration.
- Ability to work independently in a distributed setting and set priorities with minimal supervision.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, identify blockers, and propose practical solutions.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, or platforms like GitLab.
- Openness to learning and iterating based on feedback.
Responsibilities
- Lead 1–3 strategic technical programs at a time spanning multiple engineering teams and product stages.
- Partner with engineering leaders and stakeholders to align on goals, timelines, and delivery milestones.
- Own end-to-end program planning and execution from discovery and scoping through delivery and retrospectives.
- Drive asynchronous collaboration using GitLab issues, epics, and handbook updates.
- Identify risks and blockers, coordinate resolution, and escalate when necessary to maintain momentum.
- Facilitate working group meetings and discussions to support decision-making and surface tradeoffs.
- Track and communicate program health via metrics and dashboards for the Engineering Division.
- Contribute to evolving Technical Program Management practices and documentation.
