Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience in backend systems or ML infrastructure.
- Strong proficiency in Python.
- Strong proficiency in at least one systems language (e.g., Go, Rust, C++).
- Proven experience shipping and operating agent loops in production including tool use and multi-step workflows.
- Hands-on experience with RAG, context management, and memory for LLM applications.
- Experience with sandboxing, isolation, and permission models for automated systems.
- Experience running open-weight models with an understanding of quantization and serving choices.
- Ability to operate in fast-moving, ambiguous environments and define product roadmaps.
Responsibilities
- Own the harness architecture end to end including agent loop, safe execution, context management, knowledge base, memory, permissions, orchestration, outputs, interfaces, and observability.
- Build custom components for session semantics, enforced permissions, human-editable memory files, orchestrators, and outputs.
- Keep pace with evolving model requirements such as adapters, prompt formats, tool-call schemas, and benchmarking.
- Ensure reliable tool use across models by implementing validation, repair, retries, and fallbacks.
- Develop agents, tools, and MCP servers for internal and customer use cases with security reviews.
- Build evaluation harnesses including task suites, regression testing, and metrics for cost, latency, and quality.
- Define interfaces for session API, CLI, GUI, and endpoint integrations.
