Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, economics, mathematics, engineering, or data science.
- Proficiency in SQL for querying and analyzing complex datasets.
- Advanced skills in Excel or Google Sheets, including pivot tables, modeling, and complex formulas.
- Experience building dashboards and reports in BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
- Demonstrated experience using AI tools to automate manual tasks and streamline workflows.
- Proven track record of driving cross-functional projects or programs with an ownership mindset.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to influence strategy using data.
- Fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English.
- Available to work full shifts until 4:30pm PST.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection for a home office.
Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate operational opportunities tied to cost reduction, efficiency gains, scalability, and error reduction.
- Query and analyze complex datasets using SQL, spreadsheets, and BI tools to quantify impact and prioritize initiatives.
- Build business cases, define success metrics, and establish ROI expectations for proposed operational initiatives.
- Resolve high-priority operational issues such as inventory discrepancies, order cancellations, and fulfillment bottlenecks.
- Manage cross-functional initiatives from concept through execution by defining scope, timelines, and dependencies.
- Redesign processes to reduce manual work and defects, leveraging AI tools to automate repetitive tasks.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor performance and track KPIs post-launch.
