Requirements
- Currently pursuing an MBA or equivalent graduate business program.
- Prior experience in consulting, sales, business development, or a startup environment.
- Ability to work independently and operate in a self-directed manner.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills with proficiency in spreadsheets and data analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable with direct negotiation and handling objections with small-business owners.
- High tolerance for ambiguity and persistence in the face of rejection.
- Ability to commit to 20–40 hours per week for a 3–6 month duration.
Responsibilities
- Map the local service-provider landscape and build scoring frameworks for market opportunity.
- Develop and manage a self-sourced merchant pipeline using a CRM or spreadsheet.
- Conduct outreach to local business owners and handle objections.
- Analyze conversion data and merchant feedback to identify insights and optimize the value proposition.
- Draft outreach materials, pitch decks, and partnership proposals.
- Manage end-to-end onboarding of new partners.
- Deliver weekly reports and a final presentation on market analysis and go-forward strategies.
