Requirements
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or equivalent nationally recognized certification.
- 10 years of project management or relevant experience with progressively higher responsibility.
- 10 years of leadership experience in the public or private sector in IT or consulting fields.
- Bachelor’s degree in an information technology related field.
- Must be willing to travel at least 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off, mostly to New Cumberland PA.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain an active government clearance.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage project teams to deliver high-quality projects within specified time and cost constraints.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, manage resources and budgets, and ensure adherence to milestones.
- Act as the primary customer-facing lead throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide work direction, guidance, and support to project team members.
- Ensure project compliance with accounting, human resources, training, and safety goals.
- Maintain project documentation including reports, schedules, and presentations.
- Facilitate information gathering for estimating project cost, resources, time, and deliverables.
- Negotiate conflicts and act as a mediator between stakeholders and team members.
- Monitor progress, identify potential issues, and proactively find solutions.
