Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in revenue operations, business operations, or a chief-of-staff role.
- Proven track record within a fundraising, sales, or partnerships organization.
- Demonstrated experience building or owning CRM/pipeline systems such as Salesforce.
- Proficiency with KPI frameworks and reporting infrastructure that multiple teams rely on.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to structure ambiguity and set priorities.
- Proven track record managing cross-functional relationships and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Experience managing people or workstreams with the ability to scope roles and structure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for executive-level and Board-facing materials.
- Deep alignment with GiveDirectly's values including recipient choice, transparency, and evidence.
Responsibilities
- Build and own the strategic data and systems architecture for Fundraising including pipeline tracking, forecasting, and reporting.
- Define, standardize, and own tracking of Fundraising KPIs aligned to Board reporting needs.
- Design and institutionalize the operating rhythms of the Fundraising function such as pipeline reviews, QBRs, and reporting cadences.
- Own revenue reconciliation and recognition, pledge and receivable tracking, and audit support.
- Partner with the VP to refine unit strategy, manage organizational change, and lead internal communications.
- Act as the go-to liaison between Fundraising and other functions such as Finance, Compliance, and Grants Management.
- Manage a team of 3-5 covering fundraising tech, data, donor experience, and knowledge management as the function scales.
