- 10+ years of experience designing and developing web or mobile applications.
- Experience in ad tech or consumer products.
- 2+ years of experience managing engineers at various levels.
- Experience working in a remote-first startup environment.
- Strong AI skills and ability to think systematically about AI integration.
- Growth mindset, curiosity, and interest in Marketplace business operations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Passion for the company mission and user impact.
- Knowledge of government services (e.g., SNAP, WIC, Medicaid) is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Set technical vision for the marketplace team and build efficient systems for user offers.
- Manage and coach 3-5 direct reports across multiple sub-teams to support their career development.
- Develop team-level processes to foster consistency and collaboration in a remote-first environment.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between engineering, product, design, and data teams.
- Ensure smooth onboarding for new engineers and iterate on team processes as the team grows.
