Requirements
- Proven experience as a software engineer, with lead experience preferred.
- Strong coding skills in Go and C/C++.
- Expertise in low-latency and high-throughput system optimization.
- Experience working with messaging queues and message brokers.
- Strong analytical and data-oriented mindset.
- Deep knowledge of algorithms, distributed systems, and concurrency control.
- Proficiency in service-oriented architectures and system abstraction.
- System design skills with a focus on object-oriented data modeling.
- Experience with highly scalable, distributed low-latency systems.
Responsibilities
- Build and architect Alpaca's algo trading platform.
- Deliver high-performance brokerage services for end users.
- Write code for both frontend and backend systems.
- Design robust, highly scalable, and available distributed systems.
- Implement low-latency, high-throughput system optimizations.
- Apply object-oriented data modeling to ensure long-term platform growth.
