Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in hands-on software architecture.
- Demonstrable experience designing and/or operating Commvault solutions in the enterprise.
- Consulting experience in the backup/recovery and data management industry.
- Public Cloud experience (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Experience with SAN/NAS storage hardware (Pure, Dell/EMC, HDS, NetApp, etc.).
- Working knowledge of networking fundamentals, firewalls, and topologies.
- Hands-on experience with server platforms (Windows, Linux), Hypervisors (VMware, Hyper-V, OpenStack), and containers (Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker).
- Proficiency with backup/recovery requirements for on-premise (Exchange, MSSQL, Oracle) and cloud (O365, Salesforce) applications.
- Strong experience with DevOps and modern CI/CD approaches.
- Understanding of agile development methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Architect and design global deployments for Commvault Software and SaaS solutions.
- Engage with customers to design, implement, and remediate solutions for data protection, multi-cloud, compliance, and disaster recovery.
- Create high and low-level design documentation for complex enterprise architectures.
- Assess customer readiness and perform data migration tasks from legacy backup infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot complex systems in Dev, Test, and production environments.
- Develop and implement software automation to replace manual processes.
- Lead the diagnosis of complex product issues and recommend architectural improvements.
