Requirements
- Completed commercial training, ideally as a tax clerk or financial accountant
- Several years of professional experience in an autonomous accounting function
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting and statement preparation under HGB
- Experience with monthly and annual financial statements and group reporting
- Proven ability to improve accounting processes within an international business environment
- Proficiency in Oracle NetSuite
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with international teams
- Good English skills for regular collaboration with the global organization
- Knowledge of IFRS is desirable
Responsibilities
- Steer and improve accounting processes for the European business
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable independently
- Process invoices and handle payment transactions
- Execute accounts receivable management
- Prepare European VAT returns in collaboration with compliance partners
- Coordinate monthly and annual financial statements according to HGB
- Prepare and ensure quality of monthly financial reporting for the US parent company
- Act as a central Finance interface between KRM EU, European management, and global finance
- Ensure reliable internal controls, documentation, and accounting standards
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation within NetSuite
