Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a backend engineer.
- Experience developing and operating microservices in a distributed environment.
- Proficiency with Kubernetes.
- Experience with gRPC.
- Proficiency with Java.
- Experience deploying applications on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Operational experience in monitoring, deploying, and testing microservice architectures.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Self-driven with an ability to balance feature development and technical debt.
Responsibilities
- Build highly scalable and reliable platform services for multi-region cloud microservices.
- Implement new APIs, database/caching abstractions, and services.
- Support user-facing products, external partner integrations, and infrastructure tooling/monitoring systems.
- Exercise full ownership of product features from design and implementation to completion.
- Ensure high availability and design for future scale while managing common failure patterns.
- Uphold high engineering standards for code, monitoring, automated testing, and release management.
