Requirements
- 5+ years of underwriting experience.
- Experience handling high-complexity cyber and Technology E&O risks.
- Ability to analyze complex cyber and technology risks and understand implications for pricing and profitability.
- Ability to combine underwriting expertise with broker and client needs.
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
- Comfort handling executive-facing broker and client conversations.
- Experience mentoring others and contributing to underwriting standards or governance.
Responsibilities
- Underwrite and manage a portfolio of new and renewal accounts at greater scale and complexity.
- Own senior and specialty broker relationships and participate in client-facing activities.
- Maintain disciplined underwriting files, documentation, and internal tool usage.
- Lead discussions on coverage, manuscript endorsement requests, and non-standard structures.
- Bring technical underwriting judgment to complex organizations including large networks and subsidiaries.
- Mentor and coach other underwriters on files, communication, and deal strategy.
- Partner with Sales, Product, Claims, and security teams to improve market execution.
- Shape regional underwriting practices and process improvements.
- Perform regular travel for broker management, client meetings, and market-facing activity.
