Requirements
- Proven experience working with or selling into SLED, local government, or municipal agencies.
- Deep understanding of public sector buying cycles, compliance requirements, and government IT constraints.
- Experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Engineering, Customer Engineering, or Sales Engineering.
- Broad technical expertise in web security, networking (routing, DNS, DDoS mitigation), cloud infrastructure, and enterprise architecture.
- Proven track record of operating in a quota-carrying or revenue-aligned environment.
- Strong understanding of SaaS metrics and business value translation.
- Exceptional presentation and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to bridge the gap between technical implementation and C-suite business strategy.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Account Executives to lead technical discovery and build bespoke architectures.
- Deliver product demonstrations and Proof of Concepts (PoCs) tailored to public sector procurement and compliance standards.
- Provide oversight to technical onboarding and implementation, acting as the primary executive and engineering contact.
- Monitor customer health scores and telemetry to resolve integration bottlenecks in municipal and educational IT environments.
- Carry a variable quota for new business acquisition and account growth.
- Lead technical Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) for C-level executives.
- Leverage AI agents and internal platforms to automate routine tasks like RFP responses and telemetry monitoring.
