Requirements
- Significant experience with combined Product and Engineering ownership at VP or equivalent senior leadership level.
- Proven experience leading globally distributed engineering organizations across multiple time zones.
- Experience managing managers and developing senior technical talent.
- Strong operating experience within a scaling SaaS environment, ideally from Series C through pre-IPO or recently public.
- Demonstrated ability to build high-performing teams and cultures with high standards for reliability and technical excellence.
- Hands-on AI product experience with demonstrated success shipping AI as a core product component.
- Strong technical understanding of modern software architecture, infrastructure, AI models, and scaling AI products.
- Exceptional product judgment, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in hospitality technology (PMS, POS, channel management) is a strong advantage.
- Experience in travel technology or high-availability B2B environments is valued.
- Founder or early-stage builder experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end Product and Engineering strategy for the Back of House domain, including product direction, roadmap, technical strategy, and execution.
- Lead globally distributed engineering teams across multiple time zones, establishing structures and operating practices.
- Build and develop a strong management layer while mentoring senior individual contributors.
- Drive ongoing improvements in platform reliability, performance, scalability, and technical debt while maintaining continuous product delivery.
- Determine where AI can create value and lead the delivery of AI-powered capabilities for hotel teams.
- Partner with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to align product priorities and business objectives.
- Make technical and product decisions balancing innovation, reliability, and scalability.
- Champion automation and modern engineering practices.
