Requirements
- Extensive experience managing US payroll (multi-state experience required).
- High proficiency in payroll systems, specifically ADP WorkforceNow and Kronos/Ukg.
- Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, V-Lookups, Macros).
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Flawless English communication skills to explain complex tax issues to US-based staff.
- Ability to work 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM PHST to align with US time zones.
- CPA or CPP certification (plus).
- Ability to manage a team and oversee complex tax and system issues.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor junior payroll staff to ensure professional growth and output accuracy.
- Manage end-to-end payroll lifecycle for 15+ US states as the point of escalation.
- Oversee withholding, filing, and reconciliation for 15+ states including SUTA/FUTA, FICA, and local taxes.
- Serve as SME for ADP Workforce Now, ensuring system integration and data integrity.
- Lead registration of state tax IDs and manage ongoing tax compliance.
- Lead responses to tax notices, garnishments, and year-end W-2/W-3 reconciliations.
- Provide C-suite with reports concerning audits, 401k, and trends.
- Implement automated and scalable payroll processes.
