Requirements
- Proven experience owning both infrastructure/DevOps and security operations.
- Production-level experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, ECR, Parameter Store).
- Strong Docker/containerization experience including writing and hardening Dockerfiles.
- Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
- Expertise in vulnerability scanning, patch management, and remediation workflows.
- Solid understanding of network and application security fundamentals like TLS and firewalls.
- Operational experience with PostgreSQL and Redis (backups, monitoring, scaling).
- Proficiency in Linux systems administration and shell scripting.
- Experience leading incident response during active security events.
- Ability to work independently in a startup environment with high ownership.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and OIDC.
- Manage and scale cloud infrastructure on AWS including EC2, S3, and IAM.
- Oversee containerized deployments with Docker and manage TLS termination.
- Implement and monitor security detection, alerting, and access control practices.
- Lead incident response efforts, develop runbooks, and perform security reviews.
- Provide operational support for PostgreSQL and Redis production environments.
- Drive vulnerability management, including scanning, patching, and remediation.
