Requirements
- Strong professional backend software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in Go/Golang, or strong professional experience with Python, Java, or TypeScript with willingness to transition to Go.
- Experience building production APIs and distributed backend systems.
- Strong relational database experience, ideally PostgreSQL.
- Experience with at least one major cloud platform (GCP, AWS, Azure).
- Hands-on understanding of REST APIs, Webhooks, and authentication systems.
- Hands-on understanding of asynchronous processing and database design.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to independently own technical problems through resolution.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering and cross-functional teams.
- Availability during U.S. business hours.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain backend services primarily using Go (Golang).
- Design scalable REST APIs and internal microservices.
- Build and maintain integrations across 100+ enterprise systems.
- Design event-driven architectures for processing high-volume security data.
- Optimize complex PostgreSQL queries and maintain database schemas.
- Deploy and operate services across cloud environments, with GCP preferred.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and observability to ensure platform stability.
- Participate in architecture decisions and technical design reviews.
