Requirements
- Associate degree in Business or a related field from an accredited college or university.
- At least 2 years of experience related to the assignment, or 1 year of experience at the equivalent lower-level Business Support Analyst position.
- Experience coordinating multiple complex projects simultaneously, managing timelines, documentation, and priorities.
- Experience managing and documenting fiscal processes, including budgets, invoices, expenditures, purchase orders, grants, or contracts.
- Strong data-management and analytical capabilities, including organizing and reviewing information for reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, along with proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated ability to act as a liaison between contractors, vendors, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong critical thinking, judgment, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Experience working within a government agency or similar public-sector environment is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the work of contractors, grantees, and subrecipient grantees, ensuring required activities, documentation, and deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Manage the full lifecycle of grants and contracts, including initiation, execution, compliance, renewal, amendments, and closeout.
- Create, manage, and close out purchase orders while receiving, processing, and tracking invoices.
- Maintain comprehensive records of contractor and grantee expenditures, ensuring funds are used in accordance with applicable terms.
- Review monthly or quarterly reports submitted by contractors and grantees for accuracy and compliance.
- Support annual audits by preparing required documentation and providing information related to grants, contracts, and expenditures.
- Participate in quarterly budget meetings to review expenditures, resolve discrepancies, and ensure accurate financial tracking.
- Complete eligibility verification processes for project stipends and provide status updates to external partners.
