Requirements

  • Associate degree in Business or a related field from an accredited college or university.
  • At least 2 years of experience related to the assignment, or 1 year of experience at the equivalent lower-level Business Support Analyst position.
  • Experience coordinating multiple complex projects simultaneously, managing timelines, documentation, and priorities.
  • Experience managing and documenting fiscal processes, including budgets, invoices, expenditures, purchase orders, grants, or contracts.
  • Strong data-management and analytical capabilities, including organizing and reviewing information for reporting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, along with proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to act as a liaison between contractors, vendors, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong critical thinking, judgment, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working within a government agency or similar public-sector environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the work of contractors, grantees, and subrecipient grantees, ensuring required activities, documentation, and deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of grants and contracts, including initiation, execution, compliance, renewal, amendments, and closeout.
  • Create, manage, and close out purchase orders while receiving, processing, and tracking invoices.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of contractor and grantee expenditures, ensuring funds are used in accordance with applicable terms.
  • Review monthly or quarterly reports submitted by contractors and grantees for accuracy and compliance.
  • Support annual audits by preparing required documentation and providing information related to grants, contracts, and expenditures.
  • Participate in quarterly budget meetings to review expenditures, resolve discrepancies, and ensure accurate financial tracking.
  • Complete eligibility verification processes for project stipends and provide status updates to external partners.
