Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst, including at least 1 year in a lead capacity.
- Proven experience eliciting and documenting business requirements for BI and dashboard projects.
- Strong experience producing BRDs, functional specifications, and data mapping documents.
- Direct experience with Power BI projects (requirements definition, design, data modeling, UAT).
- Strong understanding of Power BI data modeling (star schemas, DAX, RLS, incremental refresh).
- Knowledge of Azure cloud platforms and data flow from source systems.
- Understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data warehousing concepts.
- Fluent written and spoken English and Japanese.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and drive outcomes across cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead business analysis across procurement initiatives ensuring requirements are clearly understood, documented, and delivered.
- Drive continuous process improvement initiatives aligned with procurement business needs.
- Collaborate with procurement leaders, finance controllers, IT, and data owners to analyze business processes.
- Translate requirements into functional specifications for Power BI dashboards, including data models and logic.
- Produce and maintain BRDs, functional specifications, and data mapping documentation.
- Support project management with planning, scope, effort estimation, and timeline delivery.
- Track requirements, issues, risks, and dependencies using RAID and Decision Logs.
- Coordinate UAT, user engagement, training preparation, and hypercare support for deployments.
