Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience leading and driving large-scale, cross-team technical initiatives.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD platforms such as Buildkite, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
  • Proficiency with developer tooling including Python and Docker.
  • Experience with build systems (e.g., Bazel, CMake) and compilers (e.g., Clang, GCC, NVCC).
  • Proven project ownership skills with ability to manage cross-team initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of operational implications of technology tradeoffs.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively in a distributed team environment.
  • Strong interest in self-driving technology and its social impact.
  • 5+ years of experience designing/operating production cloud systems (preferred).
  • Experience with automotive systems (ADAS, Motion Control) or communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet) (advantageous).
  • Experience with QNX OS, QCC toolchain, or Adaptive AUTOSAR (advantageous).

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, maintain, and improve CI/CD processes and developer workflows.
  • Own complex technical projects from design through implementation and operation with a focus on scalability and reliability.
  • Lead large-scale initiatives spanning multiple engineering teams and stakeholders.
  • Develop and operate build, integration, validation, and release workflows for autonomous driving systems.
  • Improve pipeline performance, observability, and efficiency through automation.
  • Participate in technical planning, code reviews, and architecture discussions.
  • Establish reusable technical solutions and drive engineering best practices.
  • Mentor other engineers and contribute to team recruiting activities.
