Job Details

Deep expertise in frontend engineering.
Proven experience designing, building, or leading large-scale shared platforms, developer tooling, or developer experience initiatives.
Strong understanding of modern frontend engineering practices, architecture, scalability, security, and maintainability.
Solid knowledge of CI/CD concepts, automated testing, and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
Experience working with React, TypeScript, and modern frontend tooling.
Demonstrated ability to influence technical direction and roadmaps across multiple teams.
Ability to balance strategic planning and hands-on technical problem solving.
Experience coaching and mentoring engineers.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Experience using AI-powered development tools and applying AI principles to engineering challenges.

Lead the technical direction and evolution of the organisation’s front end platform and shared engineering foundations.
Guide the adoption and development of a modern frontend technology stack, including React, TypeScript, and associated tooling.
Design and maintain scalable, secure, reliable, and maintainable frontend systems, architectures, tools, and shared components.
Influence CI/CD practices and delivery pipeline improvements at a platform level.
Shape the long-term roadmap for frontend performance, accessibility, developer experience, and platform capabilities.
Drive the modernisation of legacy frontend pages and components.
Build strong relationships across engineering, product, design, and infrastructure teams.
Coach and mentor engineers, supporting their technical development and progression.
