Requirements
- 12+ years of experience with deep domain grounding in procurement, source-to-pay, or enterprise finance transformation.
- Demonstrated ownership of company-level or industry-level direction in business value, value engineering, management consulting, or strategic finance.
- Expertise in enterprise value quantification, including building defensible economic models under uncertainty.
- Track record of influencing senior executives without authority, both internally and with CFO/CPO-level buyers.
- Ability to navigate systemic, highly ambiguous problems spanning multiple functions.
- Sound judgment regarding AI-assisted analysis and its defensibility.
- Evidence of multiplying others by coaching senior practitioners and raising functional quality bars.
- Experience establishing a value function or methodology from scratch at a high-growth enterprise software company (nice to have).
- Existing external presence such as published work or relationships in procurement/CFO communities (nice to have).
Responsibilities
- Set the objectives and approach for Zip's most critical, highest-stakes value engagements.
- Own Zip's value methodology end to end, including models, benchmark data, and standards of evidence.
- Represent Zip as a thought partner to customer executives, industry forums, and analysts.
- Influence company strategy, pricing, and packaging using realized-outcome data.
- Build execution structures to solve systemic problems in value delivery at scale.
- Develop value fluency across the go-to-market organization through coaching and standard-setting.
- Guide the application of AI-assisted modeling within the function to balance speed, rigor, and defensibility.
