Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in Investment Banking, Consulting, or Private Equity/Venture Capital.
- Experience in a highly analytical Strategic Finance role at a fast-growing tech company.
- Proven track record of owning financial numbers or serving as a critical financial partner to a business unit.
- Ability to embed with business partners and translate financial analysis into actionable strategic decisions.
- Strong ability to bring structure to ambiguity and solve open-ended problems.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to tailor insights for both finance and non-finance audiences.
- Active use of AI tools to drive efficiency and analytical rigor.
Responsibilities
- Serve as an embedded finance business partner to 1-2 functions.
- Translate business plans into financial plans and financial constraints into business tradeoffs.
- Build and pressure-test business cases for investments including product bets, market expansion, and headcount.
- Track outcomes and unit economics to close the loop with leadership.
- Run the financial planning and monthly forecasting process end-to-end.
- Manage the operating budget through monthly reviews and variance analysis.
- Define and improve KPIs in collaboration with Data teams.
- Apply AI tools to drive faster insights and operational efficiency.
