Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Registered Dietitian (RD) credentialed by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
- Current licensure to practice in Tennessee.
- Demonstrated experience in providing medical nutrition therapy to perinatal and postpartum individuals managing conditions such as diabetes, hypertension or preeclampsia, inadequate weight gain, and anemia.
- Experience serving families eligible for Medicaid, SNAP, or WIC programs.
- Exceptional listening and communication skills.
- Proficiency in motivational interviewing techniques.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Access to reliable home internet.
- Proficiency in using EHR and messaging platforms for documentation and communication.
Responsibilities
- Deliver individualized perinatal and postpartum nutrition education via scheduled, virtual visits.
- Facilitate scheduled, virtual group classes for perinatal and postpartum nutrition.
- Ensure clear and precise documentation for all care interactions.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures to maintain high standards of care.
