Requirements

4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Strong backend engineering skills, including designing scalable systems, APIs, and data pipelines.
Proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js for production backend services.
Experience building complex AI applications well beyond simple RAG implementations or chatbots.
Familiarity with LLM toolchains: prompt engineering, embeddings, retrieval-augmented generation, and model orchestration.
Experience integrating with data sources such as SQL databases, data warehouses, and third-party APIs.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong product intuition and customer-centric thinking.
Background at a high-growth, VC-backed startup.
Strong CS fundamentals from a rigorous academic program.

Responsibilities

Rapidly iterate on proofs of concept to explore how AI can be integrated into data and marketing workflows.
Prototype and ship new product ideas quickly, laying the groundwork for major product lines.
Make key architectural decisions on AI frameworks, methodologies, and model selection.
Build production-grade data agents that help companies answer analytics and marketing questions using their own data.
Develop a deep understanding of user workflows to design seamless, AI-assisted experiences.
Convert prototypes into scalable, maintainable production systems with strong engineering practices.
