Requirements
- 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong backend engineering skills, including designing scalable systems, APIs, and data pipelines.
- Proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js for production backend services.
- Experience building complex AI applications well beyond simple RAG implementations or chatbots.
- Familiarity with LLM toolchains: prompt engineering, embeddings, retrieval-augmented generation, and model orchestration.
- Experience integrating with data sources such as SQL databases, data warehouses, and third-party APIs.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong product intuition and customer-centric thinking.
- Background at a high-growth, VC-backed startup.
- Strong CS fundamentals from a rigorous academic program.
Responsibilities
- Rapidly iterate on proofs of concept to explore how AI can be integrated into data and marketing workflows.
- Prototype and ship new product ideas quickly, laying the groundwork for major product lines.
- Make key architectural decisions on AI frameworks, methodologies, and model selection.
- Build production-grade data agents that help companies answer analytics and marketing questions using their own data.
- Develop a deep understanding of user workflows to design seamless, AI-assisted experiences.
- Convert prototypes into scalable, maintainable production systems with strong engineering practices.
