Requirements
- 8–10+ years of professional experience in HR/People Operations.
- 3+ years of experience in a leadership or management capacity.
- Proven ownership of HRIS strategy, including implementation, migration, or major optimization (e.g., Workday, Rippling, ADP).
- Extensive background managing the full employee lifecycle and HR compliance operations (I-9s, audits, policy administration).
- Demonstrated experience standing up or scaling people operations in a high-growth SaaS or startup environment.
- Proven international experience, particularly across EMEA; experience in Japan, Singapore, or South America is highly preferred.
- Direct experience opening new international legal entities and setting up local HR compliance.
- Experience partnering with or managing an Employer of Record (EOR) provider.
- Strong collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset.
- Ability to operate with ambiguity and build new processes.
- Experience developing and managing a team.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the People Operations team, currently consisting of a manager and two direct reports.
- Own and scale core employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, offboarding, compliance training, and job changes.
- Drive the operational strategy for opening new legal entities internationally, specifically managing efforts for UK, Canada, and Germany.
- Partner with Finance and Legal teams to navigate compliance, payroll, and legal requirements across all operating countries.
- Manage and expand relationships with Employer of Record (EOR) providers for international operations.
- Build scalable HR infrastructure and leverage AI tools to enhance operational efficiency and the employee experience.
- Maintain ongoing global HR operations and compliance across approximately 19 countries.
