Requirements
- Master’s or PhD degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or Economics) or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience with machine learning engineering, data science, or software development for data solutions.
- Proven experience designing technical solutions and leading a team through implementation.
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages such as Python, C++, Java, R, or Scala.
- Experience with containerization tools, including Kubernetes and Docker.
- Experience architecting novel analytic methods using machine learning methodologies.
- Experience developing data-oriented tasks for cybersecurity, such as ML algorithms for cyber defense.
- Experience engineering data workflows to merge disparate data sources.
- Experience developing security tool automation and custom applications.
- Certified Analytics Professional (CAP) certification required.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of technical data science solutions supporting enterprise cybersecurity operations.
- Develop data models and automation capabilities that enhance security monitoring, detection, threat hunting, and UEBA.
- Design custom algorithms and data architectures for complex enterprise-scale data sets.
- Develop machine learning algorithms to identify anomalous behavior and emerging cyber threats.
- Create visualizations and dashboards to communicate cybersecurity data, trends, and risks to leadership.
- Design and develop automation supporting security tool administration and analytical workflows.
