Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher and 5 years of job-related experience, OR High School Diploma/GED and 8 years of job-related experience.
- Strong knowledge of software contracting and IT professional service contracting.
- Proven contract and negotiation experience.
- Strong analytics and interpersonal skills.
- Working knowledge of IT supplier markets.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills at a senior level.
- Strong business, contract language, and financial acumen.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Knowledge of technology nomenclature.
- Ability to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally.
Responsibilities
- Assist Global Category Managers in implementing global sourcing strategies for multiple IT categories to ensure business continuity and value creation.
- Assist Global Category Managers in establishing and managing supplier relationships that ensure cost and service benefits.
- Negotiate and establish effective supplier contract agreements, holding suppliers accountable to competitive prices, quality, and service.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to prioritize activities aligning with global IT procurement goals.
- Collaborate on overall procurement guidelines and processes.
- Coordinate complex projects and initiatives with high value and broad corporation implications.
