Requirements
- 2+ years of sourcing, procurement, or strategic purchasing experience.
- Hands-on experience with vendor negotiation.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong finance fundamentals.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to be self-driven and comfortable with ambiguity.
- Customer-service orientation toward internal stakeholders.
- Ability to adapt and learn quickly in an evolving industry.
- Experience in high-growth technology or SaaS companies preferred.
- Familiarity with P2P, CLM, and ERP platforms preferred.
- Working knowledge of contract terms, GDPR, SOC 2, and risk management preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead vendor negotiations for purchases across multiple spend categories including commercial terms, pricing, and renewal protections.
- Run competitive sourcing events like RFI/RFP/RFQ and present data-backed bid comparisons.
- Own the renewal calendar to engage stakeholders and eliminate surprise auto-renewals.
- Shepherd purchase requests through the full intake-to-pay process, coordinating with Legal, Security, IT, and Finance teams.
- Manage supplier onboarding documentation, tax forms, and banking verification.
- Analyze purchasing and spend data to identify consolidation opportunities and pricing outliers.
- Maintain reporting on savings, cost avoidance, cycle time, and spend under management.
