Requirements
- 7–10 years of professional experience developing applications for macOS, Windows, or Linux.
- Strong hands-on experience in backend or full-stack software development.
- Professional experience in at least one modern programming language such as Go, Python, or Java.
- Strong experience with Go or willingness to work extensively with Go in a cross-platform environment.
- Experience working with at least one major public cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitHub Actions.
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
- Understanding of device management and endpoint management concepts.
- Familiarity with security and authentication technologies such as mTLS, OAuth, and OIDC.
- Strong problem-solving skills across application, operating system, and cloud layers.
- Fluent written and spoken English proficiency.
- Willingness to participate in scheduled on-call rotations.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain cross-platform device management applications and services primarily using Go and Node.js.
- Build software for Windows, macOS, and Linux environments, integrating closely with operating system capabilities and third-party applications.
- Develop and improve device management functionality supporting remote configuration, patching, security, monitoring, enrollment, and telemetry.
- Build and maintain highly available, scalable cloud APIs and backend services that communicate with endpoint applications and agents.
- Collaborate with architects, UX designers, DevOps engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver reliable and intuitive solutions.
- Implement secure communication and authentication mechanisms, including mTLS and OAuth/OIDC flows.
- Develop comprehensive unit, functional, and acceptance tests and contribute to automated testing and quality assurance practices.
- Participate in a Scrum-based agile development environment, contributing to planning, execution, reviews, and continuous improvement.
- Mentor junior engineers and share technical knowledge across the engineering team.
- Participate in on-call rotations and respond to production alerts and incidents during assigned shifts.
