Requirements
- 20+ years of industrial manufacturing experience across multiple sites or product lines.
- Executive or senior operational leadership experience (Plant Manager, VP Operations, Division President, COO, or CEO).
- Experience with PE-backed companies, continuous improvement, capacity expansion, and capex deployment.
- Existing network of relationships with founders, family owners, and PE professionals.
- Proven ability to represent the firm professionally to sponsors and target company management.
- Experience managing and maintaining discretion with confidential competitive intelligence.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to deal sourcing, due diligence, and sponsor engagement.
- Availability for flexible, per-engagement consulting commitments.
Responsibilities
- Provide market intelligence on bolt-on targets, competitive landscape, and valuation context.
- Facilitate introductions to founders, family owners, and senior executives within your network.
- Analyze confidential information memoranda and management presentations for operating fit and risk.
- Support private equity sponsor pitches with relevant subsector and operational background.
- Conduct operational due diligence on target companies.
- Advise the team on positioning and messaging for sponsor outreach and sourcing campaigns.
