Requirements
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years experience leading engineering teams building developer products, platforms, or technically complex product surfaces.
- Strong technical depth in areas like compilers, code generation, language tooling, IDEs, or developer infrastructure.
- Experience building with AI or agentic systems, or demonstrated ability to get deep in the space quickly.
- Track record of turning ambiguous technical problems into systems that customers can actually use.
- Comfort balancing long-term architecture with the pressure to ship and learn.
- Leadership style that combines high technical standards with strong coaching and team development.
- Curiosity and openness to growth, including fluency in emerging technologies like AI.
Responsibilities
- Set the technical and product direction for making Webflow code-native, including high-fidelity round-tripping between visual and code surfaces.
- Lead the integration of coding agents into the Webflow building experience.
- Own the developer experience of working with Webflow in code, from core primitives and APIs to tooling and feedback loops.
- Turn an emerging problem space into a coherent roadmap, sequencing foundational platform work with customer-facing capabilities.
- Partner closely with product, design, and engineering teams across Webflow.
- Stay technically engaged through architecture, design reviews, prototyping, and hands-on contribution.
- Hire, coach, and develop engineers while building a high-performing technical culture.
