Requirements
- Strong understanding of billing processes and output types.
- Proficiency with IDocs, XML, and SAP finance configurations.
- Deep knowledge of customer master data management and tax configuration.
- Familiarity with BIS standards, PEPPOL access points, identifiers, and validation rules.
- Experience with country-specific e-invoicing mandates (e.g., Italy SDI, France PDP, Poland KSeF).
- Proven ability to lead multi-country rollouts.
- Ability to analyze complex XML, mapping errors, and integration logs.
- Experience managing and mentoring junior support staff.
- Skilled at simplifying complex technical processes for non-technical teams.
Responsibilities
- Own daily monitoring of e-invoicing flows, ensuring successful transmission through PEPPOL and other networks.
- Lead investigation and resolution of invoice failures, rejections, mapping issues, and network errors.
- Maintain and govern customer master data, routing IDs, PEPPOL identifiers, tax categories, and mandatory fields.
- Ensure correct VAT/tax category mapping for each country’s regulatory requirements.
- Manage end-to-end onboarding for each new country, including requirement gathering, testing, certification, and go-live.
- Deliver training to Finance, Customer Service, and local market teams on processes, tools, and compliance.
- Liaise with PEPPOL access point providers, middleware vendors, and SAP teams.
- Track regulatory changes and ensure continuous compliance across all jurisdictions.
- Identify automation opportunities to reduce manual interventions and enhance data quality.
