Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of progressive experience as a Procurement Buyer or in a similar strategic sourcing role.
- Expertise in advanced negotiation and contract management.
- Comprehensive understanding of procurement principles and strategic sourcing methodologies.
- High proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Coupa) and e-sourcing platforms.
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making abilities.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work autonomously in a remote setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Professional certifications like CPSM or CIPS are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies to meet the company's evolving needs.
- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, price, and reliability.
- Lead and execute negotiations for contracts and terms to achieve optimal value.
- Proactively manage and nurture supplier relationships and performance.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to understand procurement requirements.
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process from requisition to payment.
