Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
  • 5–10 years of progressive experience in procurement or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience managing purchase order lifecycles and resolving supplier, pricing, and invoicing issues.
  • Demonstrated experience in supplier relationship management, performance reviews, and negotiations.
  • Experience with materials planning and inventory management frameworks such as JIT and MRP.
  • Direct experience with Epicor in a manufacturing procurement and inventory environment.
  • Experience with international sourcing, import logistics, tariffs, and Incoterms.
  • Proven experience delivering measurable cost reductions.
  • Experience supporting ERP or PLM implementation/migration.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and analytical workbooks.
  • Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% for supplier and company activities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage relationships with key component suppliers and contract manufacturers, including performance reviews and escalations.
  • Maintain accurate pricing, freight, tariff, and lead-time information for critical components.
  • Build historical pricing and lead-time records to support negotiations and budgeting.
  • Identify alternative sources for constrained or high-risk components.
  • Track open purchase orders and shipments, coordinating corrective actions and expediting as necessary.
  • Own the full purchase order lifecycle from creation through invoicing reconciliation.
  • Maintain vendor and item data accuracy in ERP and PLM systems.
  • Support engineering change processes, including bill of materials updates.
  • Conduct root-cause reviews following supply disruptions to implement improvements.
