Requirements
- Proven experience as a Product Manager owning complex third-party integrations (API and file/EDI).
- Strong provider-agnostic product mindset, designing solutions for diverse HRIS and carrier ecosystems.
- Ability to operate across both product strategy and technical delivery, including data flows and reconciliation logic.
- Proficiency with Cursor and/or Claude Code, with the ability to independently build and debug functional code or prototypes.
- Strong systems thinking, designing for human users and machine consumers through APIs and automation.
- Ability to evaluate product decisions through business outcomes like accuracy, payroll compliance, and efficiency.
- Excellent asynchronous written communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Technical fluency in data-mapping, idempotency, synchronization, and migration sequencing.
- Comfort working autonomously in a fully distributed, international environment.
Responsibilities
- Own the product strategy and roadmap for benefits infrastructure, balancing near-term integration needs with long-term platform goals.
- Drive integrations with benefits carriers, third-party administrators, brokers, and HR systems.
- Lead complex initiatives from discovery through launch, including benefit-cost migrations and payroll data flows.
- Own end-to-end test planning, validation, migration sequencing, and go-live readiness.
- Establish processes for activating new countries and partners, covering requirements, integrations, and testing.
- Define consistent benefits behavior across diverse employment models and global payroll systems.
- Develop proactive compliance monitoring and serve as the escalation point for benefits data-integrity incidents.
- Own the full lifecycle of benefits partnerships from sourcing to performance monitoring.
