Requirements
- University degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years of relevant professional experience (or 10 years for broader management, or 7+ years with an advanced degree).
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical capabilities to evaluate complex technologies.
- Expertise in executive-level storytelling, presentations, positioning, and strategy document development.
- Proven ability to translate strategic concepts into actionable roadmaps and measurable initiatives.
- Experience influencing senior leadership and aligning stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of AI and emerging technology strategies.
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
- Systems-thinking mindset and ability to navigate complex business and technical conversations.
- Strong execution discipline and organizational skills.
- Experience with a leading strategy consulting firm or investment bank is preferred.
- Experience within the commercial aerospace and defense sector is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Identify, assess, and develop strategic partnerships with modern technology companies across AI, large language models, hyperscalers, frontier technology, deep-tech platforms, and other emerging areas.
- Analyze technology and competitive trends across the aerospace and defense landscape to evaluate differentiation and long-term competitive advantage.
- Engage with existing and prospective technology partners to explore collaboration opportunities and align with strategic business priorities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships across the technology ecosystem to expand access to innovation.
- Translate internal business objectives and technical requirements into actionable partnership strategies, investment priorities, and future capability plans.
- Develop executive-level briefings, partner assessments, strategic recommendations, and roadmaps.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration by providing market intelligence, technology insights, and strategic guidance.
- Support senior leaders in defining value propositions and identifying future capabilities.
- Drive alignment among senior stakeholders to ensure strategic initiatives are executed.
